Issue of A & B Grade Licenses and Supervisor & Wiremen permits:

License, wiremen permits and Supervisor permit- Competency

1. Click on "Licensing" Login home page of the Electrical Inspectorate Department (https://tsceig.cgg.gov.in/login.do).
2. Click the "Applicants Registration Form" for creation of user ID and Password.
3. Upload the relevant information and create ID & Password
4. Login with the existing id and password under "Licensing" Login.
5. In Data Entry menu - select the required services and upload the information and relevant documents.
6. After entry of details, make the payment online.
7. After payment , you will get the acknowledgement.
8. Pre scrutiny process will start. The uploaded file and documents will be sent to the concerned officer for verification.
9. If there is any query from the Department, it will be visible to the Applicant.
10. Respond to the query by applicant and submit the query reply for approval.
11. After scrutiny by the concerned officer, the file will be sent to the Secretary for approval.
12. Once approved by the Secretary, message will be sent to the applicant for verification of original documents for Licenses, wiremen permits and Supervisor permit- Competency.
13. After verification of original documents, photograph and signature of applicant will be captured.
13. After capturing photograph and signature , the permit/License will be signed by the Secretary, TELB.
14. The signed copy of permit/License will be uploaded to the website for visible to the applicant.
Supervisor permit-upto 11KV, upto 33 KV, upto 132 KV and Exceeding 132 KV.
12. Once approved by the Secretary, for Supervisor permit-upto 11KV, upto 33 KV, upto 132 KV and Exceeding 132 KV, interview will be conducted for applicants. Interview details will be intimated to applicant through SMS.
13. On interview date, original documents will be verified and photograph and signature of applicant will be captured.
14. Based on the interview results, the permit will be signed by the Secretary, TELB.
15. The signed copy of permit/License will be uploaded to the website for visible to the applicant.

1. Address Proof (Aadhar card).
2. Partnership Deed/MOU etc. if required.
3. Firm Registration.
4. 1 Supervisor and 2 Wiremen permits.
5. Electrical Equipment Test Certificates.

Permits

1. Address proof (Aadhar card).
2. Relevant Education Certificates: SSC, ITI, Diploma and B.Tech etc..
3. First aid certificate.
4. Experience Details.
5. Character and conduct certificate.
6. Hall ticket (Examination) if required.
